Arkansas will open its preseason with a home exhibition against Gonzaga on October 24 at Bud Walton Arena, a date that was originally set for June 9 before coach John Calipari adjusted the schedule.
Preseason Schedule Takes Shape
The Razorbacks are also slated to host Memphis on October 28, marking the second of up to three preseason games allowed by NCAA rules, and they will meet Gonzaga again after a split in their two previous encounters.
Gonzaga’s Roster Overhaul
Gonzaga, entering its 28th season under coach Mark Few, finished last year with a 31‑4 record but will be without several key contributors, including center Graham Ike and guard Mario Saint‑Supery, who signed in Spain.
Neutral‑Site Challenges
Beyond those matchups, Arkansas will test itself against a slate of marquee opponents at neutral sites, including a game against Virginia in Washington, D.C., a showdown with Indiana in New York, a contest with Michigan State in Detroit, and a meeting with Arizona in Phoenix.
Looking Forward
The Razorbacks are also scheduled to participate in the SEC‑ACC Challenge, where they will face North Carolina on December 1, while Gonzaga’s recruiting class adds transfers Massamba Diop and Isiah Harwell along with freshmen Luca Foster, Sam Funches and Izan Almonsa, promising a competitive roster for the upcoming season.
