The University of Arkansas will usher in the 2026‑27 basketball season with a marquee fan‑focused celebration that marks the second edition of its ‘Primetime at the Palace’ tradition.
On October 2, 2026, the Razorbacks will open their doors at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville for a free event that signals the start of the new campaign and invites the entire campus community to gather before the first regular‑season game.
A night of Razorback spirit
Doors will swing open at 7 p.m., giving attendees an hour to claim their complimentary tickets and find their seats, with the on‑court action kicking off at 8 p.m.
Fans can choose from designated student sections, premium seating or general admission, while the program will feature introductions of both the men’s and women’s squads, led by third‑year head coach John Calipari and second‑year head coach Kelsi Musick.
The evening will also showcase a slate of contests — including a slam‑dunk showdown, a three‑point shootout and a men’s Red‑White scrimmage — and a giveaway of exclusive T‑shirts to the first 5,000 participants.
Parking will be free in the surrounding lots, available on a first‑come, first‑served basis from 5 p.m., and the festivities are slated to wrap up at 9:30 p.m., leaving plenty of time for fans to celebrate the upcoming season.
