Arkansas State unveils 2026‑27 women's basketball schedule
Arkansas State women's basketball head coach Destinee Rogers announced the full 2026‑27 schedule, a slate that blends exhibition play, early road tests and a demanding conference slate.
Exhibition and early road games
The Red Wolves open with an exhibition matchup against Delta State on October 28, then hit the road for a trio of games against Ball State, Florida Gulf Coast and Loyola Chicago to kick off the regular season.
Homecoming and in‑state rivalry
A home debut against Jackson State arrives on November 17, followed by an in‑state showdown with Central Arkansas on November 29, giving fans a first look at the new‑look roster.
December home stand
December brings a three‑game homestand featuring Southern Indiana, James Madison and Marshall, while road contests against Georgia State and Appalachian State mark the first meetings since 2024.
SEC road tests
The team will also travel to Little Rock and across Texas for a series of SEC road tests, testing the squad against some of the nation’s toughest competition.
Hoopfest Challenge
In early February the Red Wolves will compete in the Hoopfest Women's Basketball Challenge in Frisco, Texas, squaring off against North Texas and Stephen F. Austin.
MAC‑SBC Challenge
The schedule’s midpoint includes the second leg of the MAC‑SBC Challenge on February 6, where the opponent will be decided later.
Championship week in Pensacola
The regular season wraps up with games against ULM and Louisiana Tech at First National Bank Arena, setting the stage for the Sun Belt Conference Championship in Pensacola, Florida, from March 2‑8.
If the Red Wolves advance, they will culminate the year with a championship tournament that brings together the conference’s top teams in a festive atmosphere on the Gulf Coast.
