According to Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell, investigators recovered roughly $30,000 in cash, two firearms and assorted NASCAR memorabilia that had been stored at Biffle’s residence. The suspect, identified as Terrell Williams, was found in possession of items that matched the stolen memorabilia.
A radio‑frequency detector was also discovered among Williams’ belongings, a device that can locate hidden security cameras. Sheriff Campbell confirmed that Williams was near the property on the day of the theft, though he stopped short of saying that surveillance footage had definitively captured him.

Detectives believe Williams may have used headlines and social‑media posts to gauge when occupants were away, timing the intrusion accordingly.
