Auburn’s Latest Recruiting Target
Auburn’s basketball program has caught the eye of 2027 three‑star forward Frashad Tisby, who recently toured the campus and left with a clear impression of how the Tigers’ style aligns with his own game.
Standing at 6‑6 and possessing a blend of size, shooting range and defensive instincts, Tisby can handle the ball, create for teammates and finish at the rim, traits that coaches say fit the Tigers’ evolving playbook.
The visit, documented in an interview with Rivals analyst Jamie Shaw, highlighted Tisby’s appreciation for the coaching staff’s emphasis on ball movement and his own role as a playmaking wing.
A Versatile Weapon for the Future
Tisby’s high school résumé includes a state championship at Cross Creek High in Augusta, where he contributed 16 points in the title game and earned recognition from 247Sports and Rivals as one of the nation’s top 125 prospects in the 2027 class.
His shooting range stretches beyond the three‑point line, while his length and athleticism make him a formidable defender who can protect the rim and recover on the perimeter.
With additional offers from Harvard, Marquette and South Carolina, the Tigers are positioning themselves as a prime destination for a player who could fill a critical playmaking wing role in the coming years.
