Coach Butch Thompson has taken an active role, visiting four of the program’s most coveted signees in person. His face‑to‑face meetings are aimed at persuading the prospects to choose Auburn over professional opportunities that may arise after the draft.

The group most at risk of being selected includes Coleman Borthwick, Jace Mataczynski, AJ Rice and Ty Tillery.
