Auburn’s basketball program has released its full slate for the 2026‑27 season, a schedule that reflects the team’s ambition to ride the momentum of its recent NIT championship.
A demanding non‑conference slate
Head coach Steven Pearl, now in his second year with the Tigers, has shaped a non‑conference lineup that pits the team against some of the nation’s most respected programs.
The early portion of the calendar features a home showdown with Arizona on November 13, while the only road test slated before December is a trip to Clemson on December 1.
In November, Auburn will travel to Las Vegas to compete in the Players Era 8 tournament, a showcase that brings together elite teams from across the country.
A week later the Tigers head to Huntsville for the Rocket City Classic, where they will meet Middle Tennessee before returning home for a matchup against Wisconsin in Nashville on December 19.
The SEC slate sees the Tigers hosting Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma and Tennessee, while also welcoming Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss for home-and-away series.
Auburn will also face a balanced mix of away conference opponents, including Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, Texas, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, ensuring a rigorous test throughout the winter months.
With a blend of challenging non‑conference matchups and a demanding conference schedule, the Tigers are positioned to make a deep run in both the regular season and potential postseason play.
