Auburn's 2027 Recruiting Class Gains Momentum
Auburn’s football program received a boost on Sunday when it secured the verbal commitments of Preston Williams and Khamoni Williams, both three‑star prospects slated for the 2027 class.
The additions have propelled Auburn to No. 9 in the 247Sports 2027 rankings and No. 12 in the Rivals composite, with the Tigers accumulating 237.97 points in the former and an average commit score of 88.86.
Within the SEC, Auburn now sits fourth among conference peers in the 247Sports metric, trailing only Texas A&M, Texas and Florida, while holding a slight edge over Georgia and Alabama in the broader national context.
The Tigers also boast 12 four‑star commitments out of a total of 22, a tally that matches powerhouse programs such as Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Ohio State.

The next marquee recruit, Cedrick Simmons, is scheduled to announce his decision on Tuesday, choosing between Auburn and Alabama, a choice that could further shape the trajectory of the class.
