Augusta University’s women’s basketball program is gearing up for its annual Elite Camp, a weekend showcase that draws some of the most promising girls from across the Southeast.
A Platform for Growth and Competition
The camp, held at the Christenberry Fieldhouse, is open to athletes in grades eight through twelve and features intensive training sessions led by a premier Division II coaching staff.
Head coach Celeste Stewart, who helms the program, anticipates roughly fifty participants each day, underscoring the camp’s popularity and the limited slots that keep the experience intimate.
Stewart emphasizes that the event is as much about enjoyment as it is about honing fundamentals, with smaller‑group drills and controlled scrimmages designed to foster both skill and confidence.
Prospective campers can still register online at celestestewartbasketballcamps.com, where detailed schedules and pricing are available.
Beyond the court, the camp offers a glimpse into the university’s athletic environment, allowing young athletes to experience campus life while connecting with coaches and current players.
