New Faces Join Austin Peay Soccer Program

Ruby Johnson, a native of Saddleworth, England, spent her freshman year at Marshall University before joining Austin Peay. At Marshall she contributed to a third‑place finish in the East Division of the Sun Belt Conference.
Adrianna Georgette comes to the university after sitting out her freshman season at Binghamton University due to injury. The midfielder’s recovery has her ready to make an impact on the field.
Makai King, a freshman from Siegel High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, concludes a prep career with 94 points, including 39 goals and 16 assists. Her offensive versatility aligns with the team’s tactical goals.
Coach McGowan highlighted that each recruit possesses qualities that fit the program’s vision, from competitive fire to technical skill, and expressed confidence that the new class will help the Governors contend for top honors.
