The BABA Hall of Fame & Museum, Inc. has been officially recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, a status that unlocks the ability to receive tax‑deductible charitable contributions and to apply for grant opportunities.
Founded to preserve the rich history of amateur baseball in the BABA region, the organization now counts teams such as the Clintonville A’s, the Marion Meisters, the New London Irish, the Plover Pterodactyls, the Scandinavia Vikings, the Shawano Lakers, and the WeyMont White Bass among its community partners.
A milestone for amateur baseball
President Craig Brei expressed enthusiasm about the milestone, stating that the nonprofit status will significantly aid the group’s mission to establish a permanent Hall of Fame and Museum that honors players, coaches, volunteers, families, and the broader BABA communities.
In preparation for the annual Hall of Fame Banquet in October, the organization will induct twelve new members, celebrating achievements that span decades of local baseball heritage.
New initiatives include a Founding Supporter Program designed to engage donors at the ground level, as well as the creation of a dedicated BABA Hall of Fame & Museum Facebook page to share historical content and updates with a wider audience.
