The Rams turned the tide in the sixth frame, orchestrating a rally that combined timely hitting, aggressive base running and a spectacular defensive play.
Senior ace Caleb Driessen delivered a complete‑game outing, striking out nine and allowing just two earned runs while the offense surged.
Key contributions came from Austin Vangen, who reached base twice and scored two runs, Cooper Clay, whose running catch near the warning track preserved the lead in the fifth, and Cade Cummins, who finished 2‑for‑2 with three RBIs and a run scored.
Coach Brion Treadway, in his 15th season and a 1996 state‑championship pitcher, guided the team with steady poise, while teammates Keegan Sawyer, Derek Ogden, Eli Wolpert and Taylor added depth throughout the game.
