Ball State Baseball Earns Three All-MAC Honors Ahead of Tournament

All-MAC Honors Spotlight Ball State's Emerging Stars

Jacob Gillis, a first‑team selection, led the conference's first basemen with a .316 batting average and amassed 61 hits, while also ranking third on the team with 10 home runs and 47 runs batted in, contributing a .904 OPS that placed him among the league's most consistent hitters.

Brayden Huebner joined Gillis on the first team, ranking among the MAC's top performers in slugging percentage (.661) and overall OPS (1.099). He paced the Cardinals in several key categories, including on‑base percentage, runs scored, doubles, homers, total bases and overall offensive production.

Brett Griffiths earned a second‑team nod after topping the league with six triples and securing the eighth spot nationally in that category. He also posted a .300 batting average and a .876 OPS, adding power to the lineup.
