The confrontation turned deadly when Cordell Jefferson struck the driver in the face with the weapon and Garrin Davis forced the victim from the car, leaving the victim with a gunshot wound to the arm.
Both suspects were brought before a judge in a courtroom attended by friends, family and former teammates, including Jefferson’s former coach Cameron Wiggins, and the judge denied bail, citing the seriousness of the alleged assault and attempted murder.
