Celebrating Legacy at the Tennessee Theatre
The recent Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony turned the historic Tennessee Theatre into a stage fit for legends, with Bandit Lites delivering a full suite of lighting, audio, video and staging that brought the night to life.
At the heart of the ceremony were two iconic figures from the University of Tennessee’s women’s program: Candace Parker, a former Lady Vol star, and the late Pat Summitt, whose coaching legacy reshaped the sport.
The event, held in Knoxville, highlighted the deep ties between the city’s cultural venues and the world of women’s basketball, showcasing how production expertise can amplify a community’s celebration.
Michael T. Strickland, founder of Bandit Lites and chairman of the Hall of Fame Board of Directors, underscored the company’s philosophy of excellence and community investment, noting that supporting such milestones is integral to their mission.
Beyond the technical execution, the ceremony served as a reminder of the enduring impact of women’s basketball on the broader sports landscape, drawing together fans, alumni and industry leaders in a shared tribute.
