For the third consecutive year the Beadling West girls soccer club will represent the region at the United States Youth Soccer National Cup, opening its campaign on July 20 at Dicks Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colorado. The team will compete in the girls U15 Super Division against a field that includes Sporting Iowa Central, Stafford Revolution and Future FC.
The squad is built around a core of players who have grown up together on the fields of Beaver Valley high schools. Many have shared the pitch since they were eight or nine years old, forging a chemistry that coach Tyler Blake describes as the foundation of the team's recent progress.
A Season of Growth
Under Blake's guidance the side has placed a renewed emphasis on focus and effort during practice, a shift that has already translated into more consistent performances in league play. Last year the team went 0‑3 in group competition after losing its starting goalkeeper, a setback that has fueled a determination to avoid a repeat.
The upcoming group stage schedule is packed: Beadling West will meet Sporting Iowa Central on July 20, Stafford Revolution on July 21 and Future FC on July 22. A top‑group finish would set up a championship match on July 24 against the winner of Group B, a prospect that has the players and coaching staff buzzing with anticipation.
Beyond tactics, the club prides itself on a tight‑knit bond that prioritizes collective success over individual accolades. As the players prepare to step onto the field in Denver, the blend of seasoned leadership, long‑standing camaraderie and heightened preparation positions them to make a deeper run than in previous editions.
