After a year marked by constant roster turnover and a road‑only schedule, the Bearkats are back on campus and ready to build on the foundations laid by second‑year head coach Phil Longo.
A Fresh Start for the Bearkats
The offseason saw the team lock in its recruiting class early and complete roster construction by spring practice, a stark contrast to the frantic adjustments of the previous year. Key returning players anchor the offense. Quarterback Landyn Locke returns after a solid showing with 765 passing yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions in just five games. Wide receivers Grady O’Neill and Chris Reed are also back, giving the quarterback a reliable set of targets.
