A weekend of hoops and beats
Beats & Buckets Bend 3v3 is set to transform the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend into a vibrant hub of competition and culture from June 26 through 28. The three‑day festival blends 3‑on‑3 basketball tournaments with live DJ sets, creating a lively atmosphere for players, families and fans alike.
The event takes place at 500 NW Wall Street, a familiar gathering spot for the Bend community. Organizers have turned the facility into a multi‑court arena, allowing participants to compete across several divisions while spectators enjoy the surrounding festivities.
Each day features a distinct lineup of games and contests. From 3‑point shootouts and free‑throw challenges to a Skills Challenge that tests dribbling and agility, the schedule is designed to showcase a variety of talents. In addition, local DJs spin tracks while MCs keep the energy high, turning the court into a stage as much as a playing field.
Registration is currently open online, though spaces are limited and fill quickly. Participants who emerge victorious can look forward to trophies, medals and a selection of prizes, adding a competitive edge to the celebratory vibe.
Beyond the games, Beats & Buckets aims to strengthen community ties. By bringing together youth, families and local artists, the event fosters a sense of belonging and encourages healthy, active lifestyles in a setting that feels more like a neighborhood block party than a traditional tournament.
