The Beaumont Enterprise has announced its 2026 Super Gold Boys Soccer Team, a showcase of the brightest prospects from across Southeast Texas.
Among the honorees, Andrew Hansen of Lumberton High School stands out after a senior season in which he netted 40 goals and crossed the 100‑career‑goal threshold, earning the prestigious Player of the Year award.
A Season of Records
Hansen has committed to continue his career at Mary Hardin‑Baylor, where he will join a program known for developing elite talent.
Coach Daniel Foster of Vidor was recognized as the Super Gold Boys Soccer Coach of the Year, underscoring the impact of leadership on the team's success.
The roster also features standout performances from Brody Chatagnier of Port Neches‑Groves, named District 19‑5A Most Valuable Player, and Troy McElveen of Vidor, who earned Offensive Most Valuable Player honors in District 17‑4A.
Defensive accolades went to Reece Davis of Lumberton, an all‑region selection, while Aidan Moses was crowned District 17‑4A Goalkeeper of the Year and earned all‑state honors in Class 4A.
Additional commitments include Rondell Malbrough heading to Hesston College and Noah Smith bound for Loras College, while Angel Bautista, Ricardo Lopez, Josue Cardenas and Lalo Espinoza received all‑district and all‑region nods. Nate Stafford of Bridge City also earned first‑team all‑district honors in 17‑4A.
The collective achievements reflect a vibrant pipeline of talent that promises to shape the future of soccer in the region.
