A Season of Dual Distinction
The 2025-26 campaign will be remembered as one of the most successful in Bentley University’s baseball history. The Falcons posted a program‑record 44 victories, captured their inaugural Northeast‑10 conference championship and followed it with a regional title that propelled them onto the national stage.
Beyond the scoreboard, the team distinguished itself in the classroom, posting a collective 3.35 grade point average that earned them the American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award. The honor underscores the program’s commitment to developing student‑athletes who excel both on the diamond and in the lecture hall.
Individual academic accolades were bestowed upon Parker Coleman, Ryan Glupe and Pat Heber, who each received the NE10 Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence. Their recognition reflects a culture that prizes scholarship as much as competition.
Nick Pappas added another layer of distinction by winning the NE10 Sport Excellence Award, which celebrates outstanding performance in both athletics and academics. His honor highlighted the team’s balanced approach to success.
The Falcons’ achievements did not stop at conference play. The squad traveled to Cary, North Carolina to compete in the NCAA Division II World Series, where they finished the season ranked among the nation’s top ten. The combination of athletic prowess and academic rigor has placed Bentley’s baseball program firmly on the national radar.
