Awards Recognize Dual Excellence

The College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District Men's At-Large team for the 2025-26 academic year, spotlighting student-athletes who have excelled both competitively and academically. From Bentley University, midfielders Dante D'Amico and Thomas Hirsh earned spots on the prestigious list, underscoring the program’s commitment to holistic development.

D'Amico, a standout faceoff specialist, concluded the season ranked eighth nationally with a winning percentage of .658. His performance earned him third-team honors in the Northeast 10 conference and placed him on the USA Lacrosse and USILA All-Region honorable mention lists, reflecting national recognition beyond his conference.

Hirsh, a senior defensive midfielder, contributed 15 ground balls and seven caused turnovers while being selected to the third team of both the All-Conference and All-New England squads. His defensive prowess and consistency helped anchor Bentley’s midfield and were key factors in the team’s overall success.

The CSC Academic All-District program, administered by College Sports Communicators, honors student-athletes across the country for maintaining high standards of competition and scholarship. By acknowledging D'Amico and Hirsh, the organization highlights the growing emphasis on integrating athletic ambition with academic rigor in collegiate sports.
