A Legacy of Excellence
Bentley University has unveiled its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026, a cohort that brings together six distinguished athletes and the groundbreaking 2001 field hockey team. The announcement underscores the institution’s commitment to celebrating achievements that have left an indelible mark on its sports programs.
Among the inductees are Courtney Finn, a starting guard on the 2014 undefeated national championship team; Jon Gozzo, the 1996 men’s lacrosse MVP; Bryant Johnson, who served as quarterback and team captain from 2009 to 2011; Alex Kearney, the program’s all‑time leader in kills; Kevin MacIntyre, who ranks among the top eight in Bentley baseball history for career wins; and Nicola Colucci, a four‑time CSCAA All‑American who captured the Northeast 10 Women’s Diver of the Year award three times.
The 2001 field hockey squad holds a special place in the university’s lore as the first Bentley team to win an NCAA national championship, a milestone that paved the way for future successes across multiple sports.
The Hall of Fame ceremony, slated for later this spring, will gather alumni, coaches, and fans to honor these trailblazers. Their stories reflect a blend of competitive drive, leadership, and lasting impact that continues to inspire current and future Falcons.
