Big 12 Unveils 2026‑27 Women's Basketball Schedule
The conference released its full slate of games for the upcoming season, confirming that Kansas State will meet Iowa State, Kansas and Baylor twice apiece. The Wildcats' 18‑game league slate blends geography, historic rivalries and coach input to shape the matrix.
Under the new format, each team will face three conference opponents twice and the remaining twelve foes once, resulting in an 18‑game conference schedule. The selection process weighed proximity, past performance and a poll of coaches to determine the pairings.
K‑State will host Arizona, Arizona State, UCF, Houston, TCU and Texas Tech alongside its regular home matchups against Baylor, Iowa State and Kansas. The Wildcats will also travel to BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Oklahoma State, Utah and West Virginia for road contests.
Championship Set for Kansas City
The 2027 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship is slated for the T‑Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Ticket details will be released later in the year, offering fans a chance to watch the conference’s top teams compete for the title.
Returning for another campaign, Kansas State brings back seven letterwinners who collectively accounted for 74 percent of the team's assists, 55 percent of its points and 52 percent of its rebounds last season, promising continuity and experience.
