The BIG EAST conference's weekly soccer honors have turned the spotlight on a series of impressive performances across the league, recognizing both established contributors and rising stars.
Chloe Brecht of Butler was the offensive catalyst, netting two goals in a 1-0-1 week that included the decisive strike against Miami (Ohio). Her finishing ability helped the team maintain momentum in a tightly contested matchup.
Defensive reliability was on display for Kristen Schwartz of DePaul, whose anchoring presence limited opponents to just two goals over a 2-0 week against Denver and Lindenwood. Between the posts, Addison Ash of Butler delivered 12 saves in a shutout at Miami (Ohio), posting a 0.50 goals-against average and a .933 save percentage that underscored her consistency.
Freshman Kaylie Sheehan of Marquette marked her collegiate debut with her first career goal in the 79th minute against Wisconsin, contributing to a 1-1 draw that secured the program's first point in Madison since 2001.

Katelyn Haiser delivered the game-winning goal in DePaul's 2-1 victory over Denver, while Mia Hurd helped the same team hold Wisconsin to a single tally in a 1-1 stalemate, extending Marquette's unbeaten streak in the city. Brianna Azevedo broke her scoring drought with a 90th‑minute penalty against Drexel, preserving a 1-0 win, and Kayla Bower made six saves, including three in a clean sheet against Columbia.
