The Big Rapids girls soccer team capped an unbeaten campaign, finishing 7‑0 in the Central State Activities Association to claim the league championship.

A Season Defined by Balance and Leadership
Forward Nalaya Fricke led the offense with 32 goals and 12 assists, while midfielders Emily Waltz, Ava Pedigo and Madison Vennix combined for 25, 13 and 13 goals respectively, adding 7, 9 and 11 assists.
Defender Madelyn Vallade anchored the back line with six goals and seven assists, and teammate Ava Westin was praised for her leadership and work ethic on the defensive side of the ball.
The recognition extends beyond individual stats; the team’s depth and chemistry have been highlighted by coaches and peers alike, with the Cardinals’ success drawing attention from Ferris State University’s soccer program.
