The Big Ten Conference has released its 2026 field hockey television schedule, confirming that the Big Ten Network will broadcast seven regular‑season games that feature all nine participating schools.
The season opens on Friday, September 18, when Michigan State hosts Michigan, marking the first BTN broadcast of the year and kicking off a series of Friday night contests dubbed Field Hockey Fridays, which will include five games on that day of the week throughout the campaign.
Later in the fall, the conference tournament will receive full BTN coverage, with semifinal doubleheaders slated for November 6 and the championship game on November 8, ensuring that the culmination of the sport receives a national platform.
All remaining contests not slated for BTN will be available through B1G+, the conference’s streaming service, which will carry a library of more than 2,700 additional games and provide on‑demand access to archived matches.
The schedule also notes additional regular‑season dates in September and October, including matchups on the 20th, 25th and throughout October, offering a packed slate that reflects the conference’s deep talent pool and geographic reach across the Midwest and Northeast.
