The Big Thumb Conference has revealed its All-Conference girls soccer squads for the season, honoring the athletes who have distinguished themselves on the field.
First Team Highlights
The first team showcases a mix of talent from across the area, with five standouts coming from Bad Axe, three from Laker and a single player representing USA. AvaLee Pomper from Memphis anchors the midfield, while Maddie Jordan and Reese Booms from Bad Axe contribute as forward and midfielder respectively. Emma Bucholz also represents Bad Axe in midfield, and Madeline Myers from USA adds forward firepower. Hazel McMinn of Bad Axe is recognized as a defender, and Ana Vega from Laker fills a midfield role. Emmaleigh Peters of Millington and Khloe Genow from Laker round out the defensive lineup, while Madison Fields guards the goal for Bad Axe.
Additional first‑team members include Olivia Delmotte from Laker as a forward and Bella Eash from Memphis as a defender. The full complement of first‑team honorees reflects the depth of talent across the conference.
The second team also features notable performances, with Makaylah Westendorf from USA earning a forward/midfielder spot, and Sophia Lawrence from Memphis leading the attack. Taryn Wruble and Riley Messing from Bad Axe are listed as midfielder/defender and defender respectively, while Charlotte Scaddan from Laker and Eva Zagorski from Laker add midfield versatility. Goalkeepers LeeAnn Kubacki from Laker and Kate Bouverette from USA complete the second‑team roster.
Honorable mentions were also announced, highlighting further contributors from across the region. The Memphis Yellow Jackets' season concluded in the regional semifinal against Clarkston Everest Collegiate, bringing a competitive chapter to a close.
