Binghamton baseball will host a Prospect Camp on August 29 at the Bearcat Baseball Complex, offering aspiring players a chance to train under the program’s coaching staff and experience a pro‑style workout.
The camp reflects the university’s continued commitment to developing talent both on and off the field, providing a platform for high school athletes to showcase their skills in front of collegiate coaches.
A Season of Firsts
The 2026 campaign will be remembered as one of the most successful in recent Bearcat history. The team captured the America East regular‑season crown and followed it with a perfect 3‑0 sweep of the conference tournament, securing the tournament title without dropping a game.
That momentum carried into the NCAA tournament, where Binghamton traveled to the Morgantown Regional and faced West Virginia and Wake Forest. Although the Bearcats fell in their opening two games, the run marked the second consecutive year the program advanced to the Regionals and the third time in the past five seasons.
Beyond the team’s collective achievements, the season was punctuated by individual milestones. Binghamton recorded 18 comeback victories, highlighted by a dramatic 6‑5 walk‑off win over Maine in the winners’ bracket. The resilience displayed throughout those games underscored the culture the coaching staff has cultivated.
