The Le Moyne College women's soccer squad endured a 4‑0 defeat to Binghamton University on Sunday, slipping to 0‑4‑0 in their season record and leaving head coach Taylor Van Fleet with much work to do before their next contest.
Early Momentum
Binghamton struck first in the seventh minute, forcing a crucial save from junior goalkeeper Mikayla McPheron that deflected a shot by Jahkaya Davis, only for the rebound to be capitalized on by an attacking teammate.
Second‑Half Surge
The pressure intensified after the break, with Paige Luke finding the net in the 56th minute to double the lead, and Ale Victoriano adding a third goal in the 79th minute, the strike set up by Brooke Herber.
McPheron finished the match with five saves, battling a barrage of 24 shots that underscored Binghamton's relentless offensive pressure.
Le Moyne now turns its attention to a home clash with St. Bonaventure University on Thursday, August 27 at 6 p.m., hoping to break the losing streak and salvage pride before the next challenge.
