Binghamton Women's Soccer Unveils 2026‑27 Schedule
Binghamton University's women's soccer team, the reigning America East regular‑season champion, has released its full fall schedule for the 2026‑27 season. The announcement marks the start of a campaign that blends a demanding non‑conference slate with a conference schedule aimed at cementing the program's recent dominance.
The season will open on August 13 with a home matchup against Lehigh. From there, the Bearcats will travel through an eight‑game non‑conference stretch that includes contests against Marist, Le Moyne, and other formidable opponents such as Syracuse and Maryland.
A Challenging Non‑Conference Slate
Beyond the early home game versus Lehigh, the schedule features a series of road trips that test the team's depth. Matches against Marist and Le Moyne, coached by former assistant Taylor Van Fleet, are highlighted by the presence of experienced coaching talent and competitive spirit.
Head coach Neel Bhattacharjee, who has guided the Bearcats to just three America East losses in the past four seasons, emphasized the importance of early-season battles in building momentum. The program returns nine starters from a 2025 squad that posted a 13‑game unbeaten streak and recorded the fewest losses in school history.
Binghamton aims to capture its fourth regular‑season title in the last five years, a testament to the program's consistency under Bhattacharjee. The team will begin conference play on September 20 with a home game against UMass Lowell, before concluding the regular season with matches against Maine and Vermont.
