Team Penske’s crew chief Jonathan Hassler made a bold call to keep Blaney on the track after a brief brush with the wall with just 29 laps remaining, a gamble that paid dividends when the caution flag waved.
On the final lap, Blaney fended off challenges from Bubba Wallace and Christopher Bell, holding his line despite a loose‑handling car that he admitted was not his best.
'I didn’t have the best‑handling car, but we had the speed when it mattered,' Blaney said in Victory Lane, adding that his focus remains on maintaining consistency and staying in contention for the title.
'Winning the championship isn’t out of the question,' he added, signaling that the momentum from this dominant display could carry him deep into the playoffs.
