Cleveland State’s women’s basketball program is set for a busy 2026‑27 campaign as head coach Bob Dunn unveiled the full non‑conference slate. The schedule comprises twelve contests that will take the Vikings from the East Coast to the Midwest and even to the Caribbean, offering a varied test before conference play begins.
Opening night on the road
The first test arrives on Monday, November 2, when the Vikings travel to State College to open the season at Penn State, a venue that promises a hostile environment for the young squad.
Following that, the team will make stops at Bowling Green, Drake and Xavier, each game scheduled to gauge different playing styles and to build early momentum.
A highlight of the early stretch is the home opener against Kent State on Saturday, November 21 at the Wolstein Center, where fans will get their first look at Dunn’s system in front of a home crowd.
The annual Viking Invitational will follow, featuring four games over Tuesday and Wednesday, November 24‑25, with matchups against Georgia Southern and Lindenwood, providing additional competitive fire.
Later in the semester the Vikings will host Mercyhurst on Friday, December 11, and Akron on December 14, before embarking on a two‑game swing to Puerto Rico against Chicago State on December 19 and Eastern Washington on December 20.
The non‑conference slate wraps up with a home contest against Defiance on Monday, December 28, rounding out a schedule that blends road challenges, home comforts and international travel.
Season tickets are now on sale, with courtside seats priced at $125 and general admission at $75, giving supporters the chance to follow the team throughout its demanding itinerary.
