A Tradition of Excellence
Ohio University is gearing up for its 2026 fall football campaign, a season that promises another chapter in the Bobcats’ storied home‑field dominance.
Every student at the university will receive a complimentary ticket to each Bobcats game, a tradition that has become a cornerstone of campus life.
Tickets can be downloaded through the university’s e‑venue portal, where passes for any upcoming sporting event on campus are made available.
Peden Stadium enforces a strict code of conduct: food, drinks, weapons and animals are prohibited, and all bags are inspected at the gate.
The O‑Zone student section occupies sections 111‑112 adjacent to the Marching 110, while latecomers can make their way to Victory Hill behind the eastern endzone.
Fans are reminded that profanity, racial or sexist remarks, and intimidating behavior will not be tolerated, and throwing objects onto the field is forbidden.
This year the Bobcats will host six home contests, matching up against Jacksonville State, Stonehill College, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ball State and Toledo.
The team enters the season riding a 13‑game home winning streak, the second‑longest in college football, a record fueled by a loud and patriotic fan base.
Athletes, students and the broader Athens community are urged to respect the stadium’s traditions, ensuring Peden remains a daunting venue for opponents.
