Boise State University’s soccer program has unveiled its 2026 nonconference schedule, a milestone that coincides with the Broncos’ inaugural season in the Pac‑12 Conference.
Season opener and early road tests
The slate comprises ten matches, split evenly between home and away fixtures, and kicks off on August 12 against CSUN in what will serve as the regular‑season opener.
Early in the campaign the Broncos will venture to face Weber State, SMU and Texas Tech, with the contest at SMU marking the first meeting between the programs since 2004 and the showdown with Texas Tech representing the first-ever encounter in school history.
Travel and homecoming
Later in August Boise State will host Idaho State and UC San Diego before embarking on a September road trip that includes stops at Cal State Bakersfield and Portland State. The nonconference slate wraps up with home matches against Southern Utah and Northern Colorado.
Coach Jim Thomas emphasized that the schedule is designed to test the team early and build momentum heading into conference play, noting that the blend of regional rivals and distant opponents will provide valuable experience.
