Bombers owner Uri Geva explained that the partnership with Stylecraft made the Caldwell stop possible, positioning the pop‑up model as a template for future events across the region.
A series split and late‑inning drama
The game itself swung back and forth, with the Bombers jumping out to a 5‑0 lead before the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators rallied, scoring six runs in the fourth inning to take a 6‑5 edge. The Bombers narrowed the gap in the ninth, plating two runs to pull within two, but a final rally fell short as the Gators held on for a 10‑8 victory.
The series between the two clubs is now tied at 1‑1 after the Bombers had secured a win on Tuesday in Navasota, Texas, a game that featured contributions from players such as Andrew Ramos, who launched a solo home run for Lake Charles in the fifth inning.
Key performances included RBIs from Matt Scott, Joey Duran, Derrick Mitchell and Jacob Bohacek for the Bombers, while Lake Charles’ scoring was bolstered by Yuichiro Kumagami, Jaxon Landreneau, Griffin Hebert and Ayden Sunday, who combined for the decisive runs.
