Lobster Jam Returns to Boothbay
The Boothbay Region High School is set to host its annual Lobster Jam basketball tournament from July 24 through July 26, bringing together ten teams for a weekend of competition on the court. The event takes place in the heart of Boothbay, Maine, and draws players and fans from across the region.
In addition to regular games, the schedule includes a skills competition and a 3‑point shooting contest, while the quarterfinals, semifinals and final will be played on Sunday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and culminating with the championship game at 4:15 p.m.
A Tradition of Community Support
All proceeds from ticket sales and the concession stand, which will offer $10 lobster rolls while supplies last, are directed to the Lady Seahawks basketball program. The tournament has become a staple of the local summer calendar, uniting families, alumni and visitors in support of the school's athletic teams.
