The first test comes on October 3, when the Eagles travel to face the U.S. National Team Development Program, followed by a home opener against Alaska on October 9 at Kelley Rink, setting the tone for a season that promises competitive matchups.
Adding to the excitement, Boston College will host the 74th Dunkin’ Men’s Beanpot opening night, taking on Boston University in the first round of the historic tournament.
League play and rivalry games
League play begins on October 30 with a home game against Northeastern, and the schedule reveals that the Eagles will meet each of their Hockey East rivals — Boston University, UMass, Northeastern and Vermont — three times apiece.
Beyond the core conference slate, the team is slated for two contests each against UConn, Maine, UMass Lowell, Merrimack, New Hampshire and Providence, while the coveted Battle of Comm Ave will feature three games spread across Kelley Rink and Agganis Arena in late January and February.
