Boston College's men's soccer program will begin its 2026 campaign with a slate that blends home dominance and challenging road tests. Coach Bob Thompson unveiled the full schedule, highlighting a season that starts with a ten‑game home stretch and includes a mix of non‑conference exhibitions and Atlantic Coast Conference battles.
Season Overview
The Eagles are slated to play 15 matches, six of which pit them against teams that reached the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Ten of those games will be played on the familiar confines of the Chestnut Hill campus, beginning with a home opener against Merrimack on August 20.
Before the first official match, the squad will travel to face Northeastern on August 8 and Bryant on August 12 in exhibition contests that will serve as a warm‑up for the upcoming schedule.
ACC Road Trip
Atlantic Coast Conference play kicks off on September 4 when Boston College visits Virginia, followed by a home clash with Syracuse on September 12. The team will then head to Louisville on September 18 and finish September with a trip to Clemson on September 25.
October brings a series of home league fixtures against North Carolina on October 3 and Wake Forest on October 9, before the regular season wraps up with a home game versus Pitt on October 23.
Postseason Outlook
After the regular season concludes, the Eagles will enter the ACC tournament, beginning November 4 and culminating in the championship match at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina on November 15.
