Boston College’s women’s basketball program announced the addition of Megan Hollingsworth, a 6‑0 guard who will join the Eagles for the upcoming season after spending a year at Pitt. During her lone year with the Panthers, Hollingsworth appeared in 31 games, starting 13 of them. She averaged 4.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per contest, but her impact was most evident in ACC matchups where she scored in double figures twice, culminating in a career‑high 16 points against SMU.
Her high school pedigree is equally impressive. At Capital Courts Academy she earned both OSBA and WNPH MVP honors and helped her team capture the OSBA and Provincial championships. She also showcased her talent on the Nike EYBL Circuit with the Kia Nurse Elite, a platform that has produced several professional players.

Off the court, she is the daughter of Michael and Giselle Hollingsworth and the sister of Marcus and Mia.
