A Legacy of Excellence
Brad Fischer, the winningest head coach in University of Wisconsin‑Oshkosh women's basketball history, announced that he will step down after 14 seasons to pursue a coaching position at the NCAA Division I level. His departure marks the end of a tenure that reshaped the Titans program and set a new standard for success in Division III.
During his time in Oshkosh, Fischer compiled a 315‑80 overall record and a 145‑48 mark in WIAC competition. He guided the team to 13 consecutive 20‑win seasons, 11 appearances in the national tournament, and earned six WIAC Coach of the Year awards along with three D3hoops.com Region Coach of the Year honors.

Fischer took the opportunity to thank the university and the relationships he built throughout his career. He expressed appreciation for the impact UW‑Oshkosh had on his life and career, and for the chance to develop young women into leaders, professionals and champions beyond the court.
