Saint Joseph's University announced today that Brandi Ritz has been added to the field hockey coaching staff, bringing a wealth of experience from high school, club and collegiate competition.

Ritz, a native of Burlington, New Jersey, joins the program after a distinguished tenure that includes leading the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur to multiple championship titles and earning MAX Field Hockey National and Regional Coach of the Year honors in 2023.

Ritz expressed enthusiasm about joining the Hawk family, stating her commitment to building on the program’s tradition of excellence and to mentoring the next generation of student‑athletes. Beyond her on‑field achievements, Ritz currently serves as associate director and head coach at Blue Star Field Hockey, holds a Level II Coaching Certification from USA Field Hockey, and recently completed an MBA from New England College in 2016.

A 2014 graduate of Daniel Webster College, where she excelled as a five‑sport athlete, Ritz combines academic rigor with athletic insight, positioning her to make a lasting impact on the Hawks' culture and performance.
