A Quaker Legacy Recognized
Former University of Pennsylvania linebacker Brandon Copeland has been selected as the honoree for the Ivy League Football Association’s annual dinner scheduled for January 2027, an acknowledgment that ties together his standout collegiate career and his decade‑long journey in the NFL.
Copeland took the opportunity to thank his family and teammates, emphasizing the steady support that helped him transition from the Red and Blue to the professional ranks.
During his time at Penn, he earned three First‑Team All‑Ivy honors and was part of three Ivy League championship squads, finishing with 160 tackles, 26.5 for loss, 11 sacks and a host of other impact plays.
After graduating from the Wharton School in 2013, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens and went on to play ten seasons with the Ravens, Titans, Lions, Jets, Patriots and Falcons, carving out a reputation as a reliable veteran.
