Brandon Jones captured the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series victory at Chicagoland Speedway, sealing the win in overtime after a dramatic final restart.
Racing on a set of heavily worn tires, Jones held off a late charge from Chase Elliott, who had dominated stages earlier in the event.
Elliott, who had last celebrated an O'Reilly win at Charlotte in 2024, finished second and admitted that managing the aging rubber proved decisive.

The last lap saw a side‑by‑side battle for the lead, with Jones edging Elliott by 0.171 seconds as the crowd roared.
Multiple cautions and a rain‑delayed schedule had already tested the drivers, but it was the fog‑laden final stage that turned strategy into spectacle.
Jesse Love, Brent Crews and Austin Hill rounded out the top five, while Justin Allgaier, Taylor Gray, Sam Mayer, Cole Custer and Connor Zilisch completed the top ten.
