The Brantford Bulldogs have announced the addition of forward Jack Torr to their roster, securing his rights from the Fargo Force of the USHL under an OHL Scholarship & Development Agreement.
Torr, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, brings a strong hockey pedigree that includes stints with the Valley Forge Minutemen and Haverford School, where he posted impressive statistical outputs.
After completing a preparatory year at The Governor’s Academy in Massachusetts during the 2024‑25 season, he returned to the United States to compete with the East Coast Militia U18 AAA program before catching the attention of the Fargo Force.
A versatile forward joins the Bulldogs
General Manager Spencer Hyman praised the new signing, noting Torr’s versatility, size, and physical presence as assets that align with the Bulldogs’ evolving identity.
Hyman emphasized that the 2025‑26 campaign will see Torr expected to make a significant impact, contributing both offensively and defensively.
His commitment also marks the second player from the University of Connecticut’s 2026 recruiting class to join the Bulldogs, underscoring the program’s growing appeal.
Fans can look forward to seeing how Torr’s NHL‑caliber tools translate to the OHL stage, potentially reshaping the team’s dynamics in the upcoming season.
