Braxton Keathley, a standout basketball player from Martin County, Kentucky, will begin his senior year at Prolific Prep in Florida. The move follows a junior season in which he posted averages of 33.1 points and nine rebounds per game, earning him a three‑star rating from the Rivals Industry Ranking.
A tradition of producing NBA talent
Prolific Prep has built a reputation for developing professional‑level athletes since its founding in 2014. The school has already launched nine current NBA players into the league, and alumni such as Zoom Diallo and Darryn Peterson illustrate the program’s ability to attract serious NBA attention.
Keathley’s recruitment has been equally impressive. He has received scholarship offers from several universities, including SEMO, Ohio, UT Martin, ECU, and Eastern Kentucky. His campus visits have taken him to Kentucky, Louisville, Purdue, Florida State, and LSU, where he expressed particular admiration for the University of Kentucky’s program and culture.
Looking ahead
The senior forward hopes to use the coming year to refine his skills, compete against top‑tier competition, and position himself for the next level of college recruitment. By training alongside other elite prospects, Keathley believes he can elevate his game and attract even greater interest from college programs and NBA scouts.
