Brieana Brown, a 6‑foot wing from Francis Parker High School in San Diego, has officially pledged to the University of Arizona women's basketball program, securing the highest‑ranked recruit for the 2027 class according to ESPN's latest rankings.
A Milestone for Arizona's Program
Brown arrives as a four‑star prospect ranked No. 38 nationally, bringing a blend of size, versatility, and proven production that aligns with Coach Becky Burke's vision for the Wildcats.
During her three‑year tenure at Francis Parker, she averaged 15.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.8 blocks per game, helping the team capture a 23‑8 season and a San Diego Section Open Division title in 2025‑26.
Her club experience with Adidas 3SSB 17U champions Seven Days further highlighted her talent, while her recruitment was bolstered by offers from powerhouse programs such as Ohio State, Northwestern, Colorado, Wisconsin, California and Arizona itself.
Brown joins a growing 2027 class that already includes Ashley Krieger and Giaunni Rogers, with other top prospects like Dasia Scott planning visits. The commitment marks Arizona's first 2027 signee and underscores the continued success of Burke's recruiting efforts.
