A Strategic Addition for the Flyers
The University of Dayton has announced the addition of Brody Ware to its baseball coaching staff, appointing him as an assistant coach focused on the development of the Flyers' pitching rotation. The move underscores the program's commitment to enhancing its mound talent through experienced mentorship.
Ware arrives after a season as Pitching Development/Pitching Coach at Eastern Michigan, where he refined individual pitcher mechanics and employed data‑driven analysis to guide game‑day decisions. His work at Eastern Michigan included collaborating closely with scouting reports and in‑game management strategies.
Before his collegiate coaching roles, Ware served as the varsity pitching coach at Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio. There, he helped shape a competitive program that consistently produced standout performances and fostered a strong team culture among high school athletes.
As a player, Ware pitched for three seasons at Kent State and two at Walsh University, graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. At Walsh, he captained the team and earned the Elite 26 award from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, highlighting his leadership and on‑field excellence.
