Guard Nick Gargiulo has been placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list, while inside linebacker Jordan Turner is listed as Active/Non-Football Injury.
Both moves keep the players on the 90‑man roster but do not guarantee immediate participation; they remain eligible to return to the practice field once medical staff clear them.
Gargiulo’s Path Back
Gargiulo, a seventh‑round pick in the 2024 draft, has yet to appear in a regular‑season game after a knee injury forced him onto injured reserve for the 2025 season. He was elevated for four games as a rookie but never saw action on defense or special teams, leaving the team eager to see his progress when he is fully cleared.
Turner’s Special Teams Impact
Turner appeared in seven games during the 2025 campaign, recording seven tackles and a quarterback hit while playing 64 percent of the Broncos’ special‑teams snaps. His contributions on that unit have earned him a spot on the roster despite limited defensive snaps.
The coaching staff will monitor both athletes closely during the early camp sessions, using the time to evaluate their readiness and integrate them back into the lineup when they are fully cleared.
With the first practice set for Friday, the club’s medical and conditioning staff will work with Gargiulo and Turner to ensure a safe return, while the roster’s depth chart will adjust to accommodate their eventual reintegration.
