A Community Celebration for Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan
On June 27, Tavern 150 in Brook Park will host a fundraiser that brings together families, friends, and local businesses to honor Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan, two young lives cut short in 2022.
The Change the Game for Dom Foundation, created to provide basketball equipment and opportunities for underprivileged children, will benefit directly from the proceeds of the evening.
Attendees can expect a menu of food and drinks, a series of raffles, and appearances by special guests, while nearly 20 sponsors have pledged their support.
Justina Loychik, chief executive officer of Jayne of All Trades, is slated to sponsor the event, underscoring the community’s commitment to the cause.
While the foundation is preparing to apply for 501(c)(3) tax‑exempt status, donations made before IRS approval are not yet guaranteed to be tax‑deductible.
