Brooklyn Antonucci Joins Nittany Lions
Penn State women's soccer head coach Erica Dambach revealed the addition of Brooklyn Antonucci to the program's 2026 roster, a move that underscores the team's intent to reinforce its defensive lineup.
Antonucci, a California native who honed her game with Legends FC over ten years in the Development Academy and ECNL, arrives with a reputation for athleticism, versatility and a knack for shutting down opposition attacks.
Her high school tenure at Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga earned her three First Team All‑CIF selections and two Baseline League MVP awards, while a standout freshman season at Long Beach State produced a 1,421‑minute stretch in which she started 17 matches and helped the team to a solid defensive record.
During that 2025 campaign she was recognized with All‑Big West Second Team and Big West All‑Freshman Team honors, a testament to her immediate impact on the collegiate stage.
Off the pitch, Antonucci plans to major in communications at Penn State, a field she hopes to leverage as she chases a professional soccer career before eventually exploring ventures in real estate or medical ultrasound technology.
She cited the welcoming yet competitive atmosphere of University Park as a key factor in her decision, noting that the Nittany Lions' culture aligns with her ambitions both on and off the field.
